Camino de Santiago in Cantabria – The North Way to Santiago

Cantabria forms part of the Camino de Santiago along the Coast, the oldest of the Jacobean pilgrimage routes and it includes the Santo Toribio de Liébana Monastery which, since the year 1512, and by Papal bull from Pope Julius II, was added to Jerusalem, Rome and Santiago de Compostela as one of the four places in Christianity where jubilee indulgence could be earned by pilgrimage.
